CansAndComponents is an independent price-comparison and buyer-information site for suppressors and reloading components. The goal: put the retailer price, the out-the-door cost, and the state law in one place, with a source for every legal claim.

We are a small, independent team. We are not a retailer, a dealer, or a manufacturer, and no brand pays us for placement. We plan to earn money through affiliate commissions, explained on our disclosure page.

Where things stand

• Live now: the state law table, eForm 4 wait times, and our buyer guides, each with dated sources.
• Launching soon: suppressor and reloading price comparison. We only show prices from retailer data feeds we are approved to use, so comparison goes live after those approvals.
• Coming soon: the weekly deals email.

How we will get prices

From retailer product feeds provided through affiliate networks, refreshed about once a day once live. Each price will show when it was last seen. We do not scrape sites that prohibit it, and we never fill gaps with estimated prices.

How we handle the law

Every legal statement links to a dated source. When a publisher blocks our automated access, we say so on the source and link the archived copy we read. When we cannot verify something, we say that instead of guessing.

Found an outdated law or a broken source? We do not have a public contact address yet. One will be posted on this page before the site collects any personal information.
